Dik Pal Tamang of Fargo, North Dakota was involved in a crash on Saturday, June 15th 2019 at 7:46 am in Sheridan County, Kansas. Tamang is a 37-year-old man.
In the crash, Tamang was driving a 2019 Kenworth semi. The crash happened here: U83/K23 Jct (about 2 miles east of Selden.) The police described the crash like this:
Vehicle one was southbound on U83. Vehicle two was southbound on K383/U83. Vehicle one ran into the side of vehicle two and vehicle two swerved to avoid the accident. Vehicle one ran into the trailer and was hit by the duals of the trailer. Vehicle one came to rest facing northwest on U83. Vehicle two came to rest on the drivers side facing northwest across both lanes on U83.

The police said that Tamang had no apparent injury. Tamang was taken to Sheridan County Health Complex.

How To Get the Highway Patrol Report
The Kansas State Highway Patrol Trooper with badge number K368 wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned case number 2019-008857 to this crash. The KSHP charges $5.00 for each copy of the report plus additional fees of $2.00 for each witness statement. But you can call 877-925-1969 to request a free copy of the report. In order to get the report through the KSHP website, you must create a Kansas.gov account and give them your credit card. You must agree to be subject to Kansas Statute 45-230: Unlawful Use of Names Derived from Public Records. This statute imposes on those subject to it "a civil penalty in an action brought by the attorney general or county or district attorney" of up to "$500 for each violation."
