Tamara D Thomas of Butler, MO was injured on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at 7:00PM in Bates County, Missouri. Thomas is a 37-year-old woman.

CRASH OCCURRED AS VEHICLE #1 FAILED TO NEGOTIATE AN INTERSECTION, CROSSED CR 2, STRUCK A DITCH AND A FENCE AND LEFT THE SCENE. FURTHER INVESTIGATION REVEALED THE LOCATION OF THE VEHICLE AND THE OCCUPANTS. ASSISTED BY TPR B SHOWS #823 AND THE BATES COUNTY SHERIFF DEPARTMENT.
Injuries
Thomas's injuries were minor. Thomas was taken by EMS to Bates County Memorial.
Vehicle Damage
The police said the damage to the 1994 Chevrolet Cargo Van driven by Thomas was extensive. It was removed by Towed By Dout’Ys Tow.
How To Get the Highway Patrol Report
Cpl D A Jones of the Missouri State Highway Patrol wrote up the report. The highway patrol assigned report number 230020624 to this crash. The highway patrol charges $6.90 for each certified report (certification required for court). But you can call 877-925-1969 to request a free copy of the report. The highway patrol is currently backlogged and they state on their website that you will have to wait 10 days and may have to wait an "extended period of time" beyond that for the report. Further, unless you qualify under the Federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, the report you get will have important and necessary information such as photographs, social security numbers, driver license numbers, names, addresses and telephone numbers redacted (blacked out).
